You asked, we answered: what’s the difference between traditional gouache and acrylic gouache? 🫡 We’ll let Mazi do the talking, but here’s a simple primer: 🤝 Traditional and acrylic gouache have some things in common. They’re both fluid, and they both dry to an opaque, matte finish. ❌ One thing they don’t share? A binder-the substance that (combined with pigments) allows paint to be applied to ...

May be used to paint silk fabric?
Is it actual watercolors or is it dye?
Beautiful
Pans, Pelikan and Lukas are great brands
Both have definitely benefited me in terms of creativity.
Pans is my vote!
Does it have toxic pigments, i am looking for oil paints without toxic pigments or doesnt need toxic solvents, if anybody knows an oil paint that matches my description, please reply
The majority of colors in oil paint brands use pigments that are safe enough to carry the AP seal indicating safe for all ages. Look on the tube or product listing for the AP seal; the CL seal indicates that special handling is needed for safe use. Winsor & Newton Artisan Oils are water-miscible so they can be thinned and cleaned up with water. Traditional oil paints can be thinned with solvent-free mediums like Walnut oil Alkyd, or with walnut oil alone (using minimal amounts).
Fabulous demonstration! Love the colors! Very expressive. 👏
Thank you! The skill and creativity Joe shows in his paintings shines through in his work as Utrecht Brand Manager, guiding the creation of wonderful artist's colors!
More detail please!!
Here you are! ruclips.net/video/oHeSC8dfs1w/видео.html
these look gorgeous ☺☺
They're as easy to use as they are beautiful!
This is so good 😊😊
Thank you! We hope it inspires artists to compare their colors and read the package label for useful information!
I know this is an old video but I thought I'd try to ask this question. What is the difference between Professional Matt vanish vs Basic Matt vanish? Thanks.
Liquitex Professional Matte Varnish is a permanent (non-removable) top coat that has the highest possible polymer strength with added UV protection. Liquitex Basics Matte Medium is a painting medium and non-removable top coat with has the essential polymer concentration necessary for professional results, at a price economical enough for any budget. Hope this helps!
Love creating wearable art with my personal brand @snavadesigns mixing 2D with 3D. Excited to try this technique thank you!
Gorgeous work. You are both a talented painter and teacher. Thank you.
We agree! She's wonderful!
I am planning on trying out 72 of your colored pencils! Idk when but soon though!
When you do, make sure to tell us how you like them!😃
@@Blick_ArtI think I will have them somewhere near New Years! Maybe for Christmas I can test your colored pencils out
Can i dye 100% Polyester with that?
No, this is just for natural fibers. The manufacturer recommends iDye Poly for polyester fabrics
😍 this color palette is just stunning. Love Jenna ❤
We feel the same way!
I wish you showed how to remove entire piece from acetate
Super cool
PLEASE make a video about how to reassemble it! I took it apart and can’t figure out how to put it back together :(
Oh, no! Please call us at 1-800-933-2542 or email info(at)dickblick.com so our Product Information Team can help you with reassembly!
After using Rowney and later Daler-Rowney for almost fifty years I find I have aged but in that time my paintings have stayed the same as the day I put the last touches to them. .Dorian Gray in reverse I think . If you are looking for a reliable paint this you can trust in Daler-Rowney Geogian and Artist's grade of colours.
Great company with a distinguished history. They supplied artist's colors to Constable and Turner!
Thank you Sarah. As a beginner this was really helpful!
We think so too!🙂
I see alot of people complaining about the tray coming out, but what happens when the blade gets dull?
The blades on this sharpener are quite durable, but there is an easily installed replacement blade assembly available from authorized parts dealers. The manufacturer will be able to direct you to a source, if necessary. Hope this helps!
😊
Hello! Can i use this to cut a 3mm board instead? Im from the Philippines, im planning to buy this from amazon. Thanks!
3mm exceeds the thickness that can be cut with this model. You would need a much more robust cutter for boards that thick, something rated for 8-ply board.
I am a Still Life Painter and I have always applied an Imprimatura of Yellow Ochre on my linen panels. I then proceed to create a Monochromatic Underpainting in Burnt Umber. I then proceed to paint a Grisaille on top of the Burnt Umber underpainting. It makes for a much wider range of Chroma from subtle to vibrant. 😃👨🎨
That sounds like a terrific way to start a painting, that sets up brilliant colors in the upper layers!
❤❤❤
Thank you for this. Altho I have a question, I just bought a water-based matt varnish, (I never use matt varnish) when it came out it was not like a liquid it was a little bit hard, do you think it went spoiled or corrupted? Because it ruined my painting the colors came off. The paint was dry as hell😂 but thank gof it wasnt my important painting i was just testing it in another painting.
We're sorry to hear that! Water-based varnishes and mediums that have an unusual consistency or have separated and can't be easily recombined are probably unsuitable for use. If you purchased this from us, please contact Customer Service so we can assist further: 800-723-2787 or email custservice@dickblick.com
That was very helpful. Thank you😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very informative video on Golden Acrylics line! Thank you for being so thorough!
We're extremely grateful to Golden for providing this wealth of information!
Enjoyed and learned a lot. Thank you.
We think this is a great presentation for people new to painting, and a nice way to touch base with fundamentals at any stage!
what's if it's half cotton half spandex?
Jacquard recommends combining iDye for natural fabrics with iDye Poly when using a blend. Hope this helps!
I really enjoyed this. Thank you! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
So glad you enjoyed it!🙂
Give us a 0.3mm version of this double-knock pencil, please !
We'll pass this along to the category buyers! Thanks!
Make a 0.3mm version of this and make pencil lovers go to heaven.
Thanks for the suggestion!😃
❤🎉🎉🎉 excellent! Thank you!😊

Thank you, simple and quick explanation of how it works, doesn't need much more unlike many other very long videos that don't tell you much
Thank you! Sometimes seeing the tool in use is a great way to learn!
This is so good, what a stunning video ☺☺☺
Thank you!
This looks fantastic ☺☺
This is so stunning ☺☺
Does it have indicator for 2B and 4B? I only use HB, with the lead the pencils come with. I draw with B, 2B and 4B (when I am lucky enough to see any) 0.5 .. 0.7 and I will have 5 in O.9 mm.. just so awesome with for drawing.
The hardness indicator on our Blick Premier Mechanical Pencil displays a range from 4H to 2B
Very creative indeed
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
“Remove pencil and admire the point.” 😂 That’s adorable. Lol I want this sharpener and I don’t even use pencils.
LOL! We'll make a pencil user out of you yet! 😉

Would modeling paste work the same way?
Modeling paste is a bit more stiff, but it should work with most of these techniques. You may need to move a little more slowly depending on the volume you're using. Hope this helps!
@@Blick_Artok thanks
Great lesson! Gamblin is the brand I've used thus far. Please offer full time videos. Thank you.
